                                            Home Builder VS Contractor

 

When carrying out construction work there are generally two approaches you can take to hiring someone to do the job for you. Hiring a builder or hiring a contractor.

A builder is typically someone who will join the project at the build stage, leaving the architecture and design part up to you. They may also need to subcontract certain parts of the job, such as plumbing and electrical. A contractor, on the other hand, can handle the whole project from start to finish, covering all aspects, from design to build, through the use of subcontractors at each stage.

Both options are very similar in nature, each with their unique pros and cons.

You will be assigned a dedicated project manager, who will provide you with weekly updates on how the project is progressing and answer any questions you have about the build.
